Captain Morgan Dark Rum 750ml

One member sums it up well: “rich black treacle molasses” with a hit of oaky vanilla, but plenty of others find it sharp and boozy for a 40% dark rum. Expect molasses, mocha, wood and a strong alcoholic burn. A few taste medicinal, smoky and roasted notes. Most people reach for cola rather than a tasting glass here.

Boozy molasses dark rum for mixingScores are low and opinions run rough: molasses and roasted coffee, but sharp, boozy and a bit medicinal. Most say it’s a mixer at best, though a handful rate it higher.
