Warranty Policy
At 1031 LIQUOR LLC (“1031 Liquor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to providing customers with authentic, properly handled, and accurately described products.
This Warranty Policy explains how we handle product-quality concerns, defective products, damaged products, and manufacturer warranties for products purchased through 1031liquor.com.
Because our primary products are alcoholic beverages, certain warranty concepts that apply to durable goods do not apply in the same way to beverage alcohol. This policy should be read together with our Refunds & Returns Policy and Shipping Policy.

2. Product Quality
Before products are shipped, we take reasonable steps to ensure that orders are properly processed and packaged.
Products are supplied in the condition provided by the applicable manufacturer, distributor, or authorized supplier.
We do not manufacture the alcoholic beverages we sell and therefore do not provide a separate manufacturer-style warranty for the beverage itself unless expressly stated on the applicable product page or required by law.
3. Authentic Products
1031 Liquor aims to provide genuine products sourced through legitimate suppliers and distribution channels.
If you believe that a product received from us is materially different from the product described on our Website or is not authentic, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate the matter.
4. Warranty Period
Unless a different warranty period is expressly stated on a product page or provided by the manufacturer, 1031 Liquor does not provide a separate fixed-term warranty for alcoholic beverages.
Quality, safety, authenticity, and other consumer rights may nevertheless be protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Damaged Products
If a product arrives damaged, broken, leaking, or otherwise compromised during delivery, contact us as soon as possible.
Please:
-
Do not consume a damaged or leaking product.
-
Keep the product and original packaging.
-
Take clear photographs of the product and shipping package.
-
Include photographs of any visible damage or leakage.
-
Provide your order number.
-
Contact shop@1031liquor.com.
We may request additional information or photographs to investigate the claim.
Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a replacement, refund, or another remedy available under our Refunds & Returns Policy and applicable law.
6. Defective or Faulty Products
If you believe a product has a manufacturing defect or other product-quality issue, contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery where possible.
We will review the circumstances and determine whether the issue may have occurred before delivery or resulted from transportation, storage, handling, or another cause.
If a product is determined to be defective and a remedy is required or appropriate, we may provide:
-
A replacement product, where legally permitted and available;
-
A refund;
-
A partial refund where appropriate; or
-
Another remedy required by applicable law.
7. Alcohol Products and Consumption
Alcoholic beverages are consumable products and can be affected by factors including storage conditions, temperature, exposure to light, handling, and time.
We are not responsible for quality changes caused by improper storage or handling after successful delivery.
Customers should follow any storage recommendations provided by the manufacturer or shown on the product packaging.
Do not consume a product if the bottle, seal, closure, or packaging appears compromised or if the product appears unsafe.
8. Opened Products
Because alcoholic beverages are consumable products, opened or partially consumed products generally cannot be returned solely because the customer does not like the taste, flavor, aroma, or other subjective characteristics of the product.
However, this restriction does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
If you believe an opened product has a genuine manufacturing or safety defect, contact us so that we can review the circumstances.
9. Manufacturer Warranties
Some non-alcohol products or accessories sold through our Website may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
Where a manufacturer provides a warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty terms may apply.
We may assist customers in contacting the manufacturer or determining the appropriate warranty process where reasonably possible.
Manufacturer warranties may have separate:
-
Warranty periods.
-
Eligibility requirements.
-
Registration requirements.
-
Exclusions.
-
Claim procedures.
-
Repair or replacement provisions.
10. Warranty Exclusions
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, warranty or product-quality claims may not apply to problems caused by:
-
Improper storage.
-
Improper handling.
-
Accidental damage.
-
Misuse.
-
Tampering.
-
Unauthorized modifications.
-
Normal product characteristics.
-
Normal deterioration caused by age or storage.
-
Failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
-
Damage occurring after delivery through customer actions.
-
Consumption of a product after the packaging or seal has been visibly compromised.
11. Proof of Purchase
To process a warranty or product-quality claim, we may request reasonable proof of purchase, such as:
-
Order number.
-
Order confirmation.
-
Receipt.
-
Email address used for the order.
-
Photographs of the product.
-
Photographs of the packaging.
-
Other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
12. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty or product-quality claim:
Step 1: Contact us at shop@1031liquor.com.
Step 2: Provide your order number and purchase information.
Step 3: Explain the problem clearly.
Step 4: Provide photographs or other evidence if requested.
Step 5: Wait for our instructions before returning any product.
Do not send alcoholic beverages back to us without receiving prior instructions. Alcohol returns may be subject to applicable federal, state, local, and carrier requirements.
13. Return Shipping for Approved Claims
Where a product is confirmed to be defective, damaged during shipment, or incorrectly supplied due to our error, we may cover reasonable return-shipping costs where appropriate.
For other approved claims, responsibility for return shipping will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable law.
We will provide return instructions where a physical return is necessary.
14. Replacement Products
Where a replacement is appropriate and legally permitted, we may provide the same product or a substantially equivalent product, subject to availability.
If the original product is unavailable, we may offer a refund or another appropriate resolution.
Because alcohol availability varies by state, a replacement may not always be legally possible.
15. Refunds
If a refund is approved under this policy, it will generally be issued to the original payment method.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days after the claim or returned product has been reviewed and approved.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the refund appears in your account.
16. No Additional Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this Warranty Policy does not create a warranty beyond any express warranty specifically provided by 1031 Liquor or the applicable manufacturer.
Any warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
17. Consumer Rights
Certain federal and state laws provide consumers with rights and remedies relating to defective, unsafe, misrepresented, or non-conforming products.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to:
-
Remove legally protected consumer rights.
-
Exclude warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
-
Restrict remedies required by applicable law.
-
Prevent a customer from exercising rights available under applicable consumer-protection laws.
Where applicable law provides greater protection than this policy, the applicable law will control.
18. Changes to This Warranty Policy
We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business practices, manufacturers’ warranty terms, or applicable laws.
The Last Updated date will be revised whenever material changes are made.
